Personal Introduction

Hi everybody,

Welcome to my website!

My name is Marco!  I am a husband, a father of three (one daughter and two sons),grandfather of one granddaughter, and a follower of Jesus. Me and my family live in Southern Germany near the beautiful city Ulm.

I work at a defence and security electronics company. My academic background is a doctorate in engineering and a diploma in engineering (which is equivalent to a master’s degree /at that time Germany did not have the Bachelor/Master system) both from the University of Ulm.

My passion is to study topics about the interrelationship between God/Christianity and science, philosophy, history etc. Since several years (with some breaks in between) I have been leading a small group in our church where I am covering these topics. Since 2021 I am a student of the Master of Science and Religion program at Biola University in the USA (La Miranda California) which I do in parallel to my full-time job. In addition, I also like to work out in my home gym.

On this web page I post term papers, book reviews and similar content which I have created (and will create) during the time I am studying at Biola. Moreover, I intend to write blog posts and additional articles on topics I have mentioned. Some material (espcially the blog posts) will be also available in German.
